Likelihood of Going to Trial

FAQ Video Transcription

Statistically the likelihood, depending on the facts, is that your case will settle prior to trial. But it’s very important to understand, that every case that I take, from the outset of being retained until the case is over, we must assume and prepare and litigate as if your case is going to trial.

I’ve learned over forty five years, that the only way you’re going to obtain an effective, substantial settlement is for the insurance company on the other side to truly believe this plaintiff and his lawyer are prepared and ready to try your case. If you don’t convey that, there’s not going to be the kind of settlement you’re entitle to.
